In December 2003, on the occasion of the 100 years Anniversary of the First Flight, Discovery Channel produced and broadcasted a short documentary on Mario Calderara, containing an interview of his son Lodovico.
The documentary belonged to a series, “Pionneers of Flight”, sponsored by Airbus, where the most significant Pionneer of Aviation from each country were selected as testimonials in order to celebrate the Anniversary.
